Join Typebird Creative and Paprika Southern for an introductory course on branding. We will explore your business, your brand, and how each relates to you. Do you have a new logo that reflects your current vision or is a rebrand on your horizon? Do you want to up your photography game?
Where we take a deep dive into what you have in place and show you some tips and tricks on how to brand consistently and effortlessly.
Through hands-on exercises, we will guide you in developing a signature visual aesthetic that translates throughout all aspects of your brand.
Learn how to identify the visual signifiers that you connect with and that you want to represent your brand, and how to use them to maximum effect. Through these exercises, you’ll develop the confidence to know what visuals best fit your brand.
The Brand Derby Workshop will be held on May 3rd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at The Wick in Historic Downtown Brunswick, Georgia. The Wick is located at 1612 Newcastle Street and we will be meeting on the second floor in the conference room. Street parking is available.

4:00 pm to 5:00 pm Derby Toast, complete with Mint Juleps and Derby Pie
Siobhan Egan is a photographer based in Savannah, GA specializing in lifestyle and editorial photography. She has a knack for making people comfortable in front of the camera and loves to explore new places. Born and raised in Yonkers, NY Siobhan moved south to attend Savannah College of Art and Design where she received her MFA in photography.
She fell in love with the south and decided to stay put. After teaching photography at The Art Institute of Charleston and Armstrong State University Siobhan decided to pursue her photography and Paprika Southern full-time.
Raised in eastern North Carolina, Bevin Valentine Jalbert is a lifelong southerner. She received a BA in art history from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA and an MFA in photography from Savanah College of Art and Design.
With her arts-focused background, she acts as art director for Paprika Southern’s styled shoots and provides editorial direction to the magazine. She lives in Savannah with her husband, Josh, and lizard-obsessed calicos, Zooey and Scout.
