This logo is business in the front, party in the back in the very best way!

I met Leanne awhile back and found her to be a very intelligent, funny and charismatic person. She is a freelance graphic designer, photographer and digital artist based in Virginia. I could tell she loves what she does.

Leanne collaborates with other creatives, it was important her business name reflect that. We started with a business naming session first. After a lot of talking, a nice game of word vomit, yes it’s a thing, and various homework sheets, we came to Creative Cete. 

What does Creative Cete mean?

Creative = Produces original ideas

Cete = Group of Badgers

In this case, a group of creative professionals who have a sense of humor. 

The original idea was to incorporate a Honey Badger. The reference to the working hive was a good one which is where the honeycomb came in. Honey Badgers aren’t as darn cute as English Badgers. So when Leanne said an English Badger in a bee costume I thought, how will I be able to pull this off? 🤔 Then I thought about a split brand, main branding simple, clean pieces with a little extra flair for fun. Pretty sure we succeeded at a little bit of corporate and a little bit of fun!
